Enchanted Blade of the Pyre
The Enchanted Blade of the Pyre is a legendary melee weapon obtainable through the Mystic system. It is widely considered one of the most versatile weapons in The Pyre, offering a unique blend of offensive and defensive enchantments that reward skilled players while punishing reckless foes.
Overview
The blade was introduced alongside the Mystic Forge update and has since become a staple of high-level play. Its base stats are modest, but its enchantment pool makes it exceptional in the right hands. The weapon scales particularly well with xp gain, rewarding players who maintain long levels streaks without dying.
You can obtain this weapon by combining three Rare Mystic items at the Mystic Forge located near the Prestige Pyre NPC. The drop rate for the required components is affected by your current Prestige tier.

Enchantments
The blade comes pre-enchanted with three fixed enchantments and one random enchantment rolled at the Mystic Forge.
Fixed Enchantments
Soulfire Strike
Damaging a foe applies fire for 3 seconds, dealing fire damage equal to 15% of the hit's damage per tick.
Soulfire Strike makes this blade particularly effective against foes with high absorption, as the fire damage bypasses most damage reduction modifiers. Foes affected by burning will have a faint orange outline visible to all nearby players.
Lifebind
Every 5th hit on a foe restores you hearts equal to 10% of your missing health.
Lifebind provides consistent regeneration during sustained fights. It interacts well with absorption shields — the hearts restored will first fill any active absorption before topping up your base health. Note that this enchantment does not trigger against bots.
Phantom Step
Landing a killing blow on a foe grants you a brief burst of speed and removes all slowness effects.
Phantom Step is invaluable in chaotic multi-player fights. The speed burst lasts 1.5 seconds and stacks multiplicatively with any active speed potions. It will not trigger if the kill was dealt by fire damage rather than a direct hit.
Random Enchantment Pool
When forging the blade, one of the following enchantments is randomly applied:

Combat Tips
- You should prioritize targets already affected by wither or poison, as Lifebind will heal more from weakened foes.
- Against foes with high resistance, use Soulfire Strike's fire damage to bypass their defenses.
- The knockback from Thunderclap can interrupt foes attempting to use escape items.
- In team fights, communicate with your clanmates before engaging — the speed burst from Phantom Step can accidentally pull you into unfavorable positions.
- Slowness applied by foes will be instantly cleansed on kill, making this weapon excellent for chasing players attempting to flee.

Alternatives
If you cannot afford the crafting cost, a weaker variant called the Pyre Blade is available from the Item Vendor for 1,200 gold. It shares the Lifebind enchantment but lacks Soulfire Strike and Phantom Step.
Trivia
- The blade's model was inspired by the original Hypixel Pit Inferno weapon skin.
- Despite its name, the blade does not deal fire damage by default — Soulfire Strike is required for that.
- If you are affected by invisibility when Phantom Step triggers, the speed buff will still apply but will not be visible to other players.
- The gold cost was reduced from 800 to 500 in patch 0.3.2 following community feedback.
